Bob Hoefer leads our Asian advisory services from offices in Shenzhen, China and brings extensive capabilities in corporate strategy and improving manufacturing performance via design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and quality control methodologies.
As an operations executive with 35 years experience, including 14 years in China, Bob also brings extensive supply chain relationships throughout Asia to our clients in the U.S., Europe and China alike.
He is also the Chairman of Eastpoint Technology, a Shenzhen-based contract manufacturer he co-founded in 2001 and has shipped 1,000,000 components and 10,000 assemblies per month to customers such as Verizon.
Bob has served as the COO of Virtual Ink, a start-up company based on electronic whiteboard technology developed at MIT, where he established OEM design and manufacturing in Hong Kong and shipped 600,000 units . He has held several other V.P. Operations positions in both high volume and high SKU manufacturing in the technology sector and has a BSc in management and computer science from Daniel Webster College.
